Olli Andersson
Olli has over 20 years of experience in developing new business, new technology and solutions in the telecommunications industry. Olli currently leads Nokia Bell Labs Innovation programs globally and heads Nokia`s Silicon Valley Innovation Center. His team is developing advanced communications systems, robotics and new human sensory and control devices for future 5G networks. He is also in charge of theNokia Mission to the Moon program to build a 4G communications network on the Lunar surface.
Prior to his current role in Silicon Valley, Olli spent three years building the first LTE networks and technology in the rapidly-moving market of South Korea. Olli has won multiple innovation and business development awards during his time at Nokia. He and his teams have been produced multiple World`s Firsts in technology, for example World`s first FD LTE Femto Cell in 2011 and in 2012 - his team built the world first LTE connected Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). During 2015 he built the world`s most compact LTE network that can fit to a backpack or be transported with a high-altitude balloon serving users from the stratosphere.
Steve Augustino
Steve Augustino’s telecommunications practice is both broad and deep, ranging from regulatory, legislative and administrative law counsel to transactional advice, advocacy and litigation. An advocate since the early days of competition in telecommunications, Steve has guided clients through the shifting policies, exponential growth and extraordinary innovation in the telecommunications industry over the last 25 years. His clients include companies and organizations from developing and established markets, including major wireless service providers, manufacturers, trade associations and emerging telecom businesses. Regarding the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Steve is involved in counseling and appeals concerning the use of auto-dialers, calls and texts to mobile telephone numbers and receipt of customer consent. Teaming with litigation colleagues in the TCPA defense practice, Steve advocates for clients in FCC petitions, waiver proceedings and declaratory ruling proceedings involving TCPA issues. Steve represented intervenors in an appeal of the FCC’s 2015 Declaratory Ruling on TCPA matters, and provides counseling and strategic advice on calling, texting and faxing practices.

Zuk Avraham is a world-renowned white-hat security researcher, angel investor, the founder & Chairman of ZIMPERIUM, and the founder & CEO of ZecOps. An innate hacker with a passion for detecting code vulnerabilities, Zuk started his career as a security researcher in the Israel Defense Forces before being recruited by Samsung Electronics, where he published the first return-oriented programming technique for ARM architecture at DEFCON18 and Blackhat. In 2010, Zuk founded Zimperium, mobile security company. In 2017, Zuk founded ZecOps, cybersecurity Digital Forensics automation firm that is focused on finding and leveraging attackers' mistakes.

Ben holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Ben spends his spare time trying to wrangle his two kids, a skill which he has found to be very useful in the corporate world.

Tom joined Verizon Ventures in 2017 and helps to manage a small portfolio of investments in network, IoT and data analytic companies. His most recent investment has helped forward Verizon's fixed wireless strategy. Prior to Verizon Ventures, Tom worked in the Innovation Program focused on developing partnerships with IoT companies (and took particular interest in working with a cross functional Verizon group on UAS issues and controlled technical trials of UAS on the wireless network).

Christina Claure
Christina has been with Sprint for more than 7 years, and has worked in Silicon Valley for more than 20, in various positions in strategic alliance development. At Sprint, her roles include technology scouting and managing some of Sprint’s strategic alliance partnerships in the Partnership and Innovation group. Specifically focused on future innovation, she helps to ensure that Sprint’s early phase business development efforts include ideas and technologies for the best partnership opportunities to enhance Sprint services. She is based in Silicon Valley.

He also built out and positioned IBM’s Big Data and Analytics portfolio, driving 45 percent year-over-year growth. Francis has over 10 years experience building software for Fortune 500 companies, and is currently CEO of Previously, Francis was CEO of Adenda, a company building next-generation messaging tools for mobile operators. Earlier, he held the position of Product Enhancement Manager for Agilent Technologies™ robotic line. Francis also co-founded Catapult Design, a non-profit design consultancy that provides engineering support to organizations in need of socially empowering technologies. Francis has a Masters in Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.

Jean Marc Frangos is a Silicon Valley Corporate Innovation thought leader and startup NED/advisor. Jean-Marc set up and ran BT's Silicon Valley Outpost and transformed it from a $250M corporate venture fund to an open innovation and transformation function which played a major role in many new BT services, from TV to Cloud services, but also IoT, and more recently 5G. Julio Marchena has recently been appointed as Head of Innovation Scouting at Telefónica. He is leading Telefónica’s Silicon Valley Office and oversees scouting activities in Israel. Under his leadership, the Silicon Valley Office’s mission is to scout emerging technologies, cultivate disruptive innovation, and identify new business opportunities and partnerships as well as potential investments. Julio also brings Telefónica’s Executive teams to Silicon Valley to interact directly with potential partners and the local innovation eco-system. Prior to leading the Silicon Valley Office, he has worked in strategy consulting firms in the TMT sector before joining Telefonica in 2011 where he owned key roles in corporate strategy and supported activities of the B2B CEO office. Graeme graduated in Natural Sciences and gained a post graduate engineering qualification from Cambridge University. After a brief period working for 3i plc, he embarked on a career in technology and telecommunications. He has worked for Motorola, Vodafone Group, MTS and latterly JT Group. His work has led him to live in locations as diverse as the UK, USA, Russia, France, Netherlands, Hungary and most recently Jersey. At JT he has led the transformation of this state-owned business from a civil service culture to a 21st century telco.
Rick Moulton
As Senior Manager of Product Operations at Hiya, Rick oversees Hiya’s program management and product roadmap with a focus on partner success, including voice of the customer and data analytics. His team works behind the scenes on complex project delivery every day for partners like AT&T and Samsung. Rick’s 14 years of vast product management / product leadership experience at AT&T Communications gives him unique insight into delivering and improving partner success at the carrier level. He led the industry-first AT&T Call Protect robo-calling solution in 2016. Rick holds a BS from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago.

Thomas’ proven track record manifested around OEM deals, pursuing and closing deals in B2B and B2C incl. integrators and resellers. A specialty is building global teams in Europe and Asia. As VP/GM Deutsche Telekom he was leading the North America activities for innovative partnering. Activities ranged from technology scouting to partner management. This lead to over 40 commercial deals and investments. Before he managed worldwide accounts at Logitech like Dell, HP after he managed all TV manufacturers to introduce Google TV gen2. Over 8 years as VP BD, he was involved in numerous start-ups evangelizing desktop video conferencing (like Vidyo) and worked with Skype & Google. He licensed the technology for GoogleTalk and build up a reseller channel and first customer in Japan. Since ‘91 he spent in the graphics industry and as VP/GM at ELSA established the US presence until the IPO in 1998.
Married with 2 children Thomas is trying to stay healthy by coaching and running Marathons around the world. As an entrepreneur he is advising numerous start-ups. He co-founded GABA “German American Business Association” a none profit business network and also co-founded SVMC “Silicon Valley Marathon Club”.

Justin Newton has been an early pioneer in the development of both the Internet and blockchain technology. One of the few people to have contributed to Internet standards (RFCs) and bitcoin standards (BIPs), he has played a key role in the development of both of those world changing technologies. His last four companies: AboveNet, NetZero/United Online, Demand Media, and Blackline Systems have all exited with $1 Billion + IPOs. Justin founded The Internet Service Provider's Consortium (the first trade association for ISPs) and was their Public Policy Director. He currently serves on the the State Legislative Working Group of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, the Digital Currency Group (DCG) Alliance, and the OAX Working Group of the OPEN ANX Foundation. Stefan has 10+ years of experience in consulting and the telecommunications industry, where he held several management positions to drive revenues and new business development. Ever since, Stefan is challenging the status quo, driving transformation and innovation. Ankur Prakash is a Partner at Liberty Global Ventures, the technology venture investment group of Liberty Global. Ankur joined Liberty Global in 2012 and in this role, he leads venture investments in the areas of enterprise software, cloud, infrastructure and AI. Ankur has led investments in companies including Plume, Versa Networks, Lacework, Aviatrix, Mojo Vision, Mindmeld (ACQD: CSCO) and Guavus (ACQD: Thales). As a Silicon Valley veteran, Ankur has also held leadership roles in engineering, product management and strategy functions at various companies including Cisco, Juniper Networks and Alcatel-Lucent. Ankur received his MBA from Kellogg School of Management, his MS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and BS in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India.
Joseph Radecki
Joseph is a Managing Director and leads the Communication Systems and Technologies sector practice at KPMG Corporate Finance, the investment banking arm of KPMG. In his nearly 30 years as an investment banker , Joseph has worked as a trusted advisor to his clients on over 100 transactions including merger, acquisition, divestiture and equity and debt capital formation assignments. His clients have ranged from emerging innovators to large, multinational industry leaders in verticals including IoT, Connected Car, carrier, industrial and enterprise networks, communication software, and data centers. Prior to joining KPMG, Joseph was a Partner at St. Charles Capital, and before that Global Head of Communication Technologies at RBC Capital Markets.
René Schmitz
René Schmitz is an industry veteran with diverse experience, having spent the past 17 years at Vodafone, and the last 18 months as VP of IoT Technology leading the IoT Americas technology team. In this role, he manages Vodafone’s strategic technology relationships in Silicon Valley, IoT product development and delivery, and all IoT Technology-related activities for the Americas. His team drives digital transformation and solves customer problems by using rapid prototyping, for example. René combines experience in working in large enterprises and start-up environments, and for more than 2 years, he has represented Vodafone Ventures on the Board of Directors in several Vodafone-invested start-ups.

Sanyogita Shamsunder is the Vice President of Technology Development and 5G Labs at Verizon. Previously, she was Director of Advanced Wireless and Mobile Technology Planning, and has led the 5G network planning and Device Technologies teams at Verizon. Sanyogita has directed and managed teams in all areas of the wireless business, including silicon, and network technology development, marketing, planning and strategy. Sanyogita received an MBA from The Wharton School, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Math from The University of Virginia.

Jan Söderström is Vice President and Head of Technology Office Silicon Valley at Ericsson reporting to Ericsson Group CTO.
