Keynote - The Vehicle as a Sensor Platform
Andreas Winckler, Senior Advanced Technology Engineer at BMW Group Technology Office, will talk about the widespread adoption of advanced driver assistance systems and the amount of data generated by vehicle sensors is soaring. High bandwidth cellular networks allow to crowdsource the data, opening an opportunity for carmakers to re-define their role in an LBS market dominated by the smartphone.
