Driving People Into Retail
The key to making a sale (where everybody wins) is to offer potential customers something at a time when they actually want it. The corollary is that it's also very important NOT to try to drive people to purchase when they don't want it, or else the strikes will crowd out the hits. What are companies doing to use knowledge of the individual, and matching it with knowledge of the relevant retailers? How can the industry increase the number of hits, or even home runs? We'll discuss solutions for getting the word out and branding, offers, location, and matching demad with inventory.

- Mike Ghaffary, Yelp
- Jeremy Geiger, Retailigence

Mobile in the In-Store Experience
Getting people into the store is half the battle, for sure. But once in the retail location, what are the apps and services that will help drive the sale, the right sale, and nothing but the right sale. How do we help customers be more efficient in the store, experience less frustration, get a fair deal. How can indoor location be leveraged for the consumer, AND for the store? How do path analytics help stores limit frustration and drive return visits and sales? What role does the phone play in the final step, payment? We'll look at these in-store issues and discuss how to make the register ring.
