The SPIF supports the dozens of fixed and wireless
carriers who have offices and/or regular attendance in the Silicon
Valley to pursue investment, technology, and partnership
opportunities. SPIF member carriers have telecom operations across
the globe, At each monthly meeting, we review 5 or 6 interesting
young companies who are seeking funding, strategic investment
and/or have a product or service that would be useful to the
carriers in attendance.
Startups invited to present are filtered by SPIF members and the
SPIF steering committee and flagged as young companies with the
ideas, relevance, and technology that most appeal to communication
service providers from around the globe. All companies who present
to the SPIF are evaluated by SPIF members for The SPIFFY Awards, an
annual ceremony held each September that recognizes the best telecom
startups from the year prior.

The SPIF Steering Committee encourages carriers of any size or
service who are actively engaging companies with new technologies,
services, and ideas to join this Forum. Carriers who are interested
