Panel Discussion: Wearables First Market: Consumer or Enterprise?
Now that Google Glass is losing support in the court of public opinion, it seems that it has found new life in the enterprise space. Enterprise users care little about fashion, and only care about ROI, and getting the task done better. Is this foreshadowing for the entire wearables space? Those in the mobile industry since 2000 can easily remember that smartphones and apps teeter-tottered between "It's an enterprise play." and "It's a consumer play." at least 4 times until consumers pulled the market. The Fax was enterprise-first. Should we expect wearables to be consumer-first, enterprise-first…or neither? Join our panel as they explain the early markets for wearables, and how/why that market might grow or shift in the future.
